Art House

Colour & texture now define the space

In its original state, the home was lacking in both personality and liveability. In response, we imbued this home with colour and life, and ensured that the useability of each area was well resolved. As our clients were relocating from the city to the Southern Highlands, they needed a guestroom for visiting friends and family, ideally one that could double as a study.

Glorious colour and texture now define the residence. Inside and out, repurposed spaces have unlocked the home’s potential, with the verdant outlook beckoning from many of the rooms.

Our clients were also keen to update the kitchen and introduce a defined outdoor entertaining space, which we did with a new pergola and patio area off the back of the house. And having visited their city apartment, I knew they had an incredible – and extensive – art collection that needed to be appropriately showcased.
