Braeside House

Providing repurposed spaces within this grand home for a family of six required a cohesion of newly introduced colour palettes whilst streamlining existing furnishings to create a classically refined and comfortable abode. Warm shades and newly introduced pattern are the tools that make this house dynamically blend charm with contemporary zeal.

Monochrome dove-greys and smoked tans anchor the shades in the entrance hall and formal lounge area with subtle geometric wallpaper adding textural depth. Patterned rugs in a variety of shapes introduce pops of colour that segue into bolder saturation upon walls in the bedroom upstairs. Elements of the light Turquoise blue enlivening the bedrooms are hinted at in the cushions, carpet rugs and floor lamp bases in the family rooms beneath, further enhancing this subtle linking of the spaces.
