Clareville House

The brief was to devise a fluid floorplan that maximised the extraordinary water views and natural leafy surrounds encircling this three level 1960’s timber-clad house. Being a family home, the client was also eager to incorporate conversation areas to enhance interactions in the domestic hub.

The fit-out included the design and installation of dining and lounge nook banquettes, new window treatments and bespoke furniture, plus soft furnishings and lighting. The crisp white joinery in the kitchen and lounge areas is refreshed by a palette inspired by the home’s coastal backdrop: golden sand, turquoise and azure waters, green foliage, and neutral stone shades. The result of that of bohemian rhapsody where vivid colour and pattern take inspiration from the tropical surroundings. Through cafeful balance of these elements, the overall effect is one of calm serenity.
