Powell House

Tasked with creating a bathroom to meet the demands of teenagers within a family home, the brief was to introduce a more functional and sophisticated design. The modest and irregularly shaped room was in need of a more fluid layout and space-saving wizadry.

The herringbone-patterned tiled floor with matching grout subtly gives the illusion of a fluid space. Complimented by beveled subway tiles on the walls affixed with contrasting grout to create horizontal banding, the illusion of width is instantly achieved. A custom designed and built soft grey wall-hung vanity features generous storage plus a hamper and waste bin to keep the floor clear and uncongested, adding a soothing dash of colour against the white backdrop.
